Michael has over 30 years’ commercial and litigation experience. Over 10 years in Papua New Guinea.
He has worked as a Partner of National Firms in Australia, and operated his own practice and businesses.
He is an experienced advocate and barrister, particularly in commercial, banking and insurance litigation.
He appears as Counsel in the National and Supreme Courts of Papua New Guinea and is recognised in The Legal 500 Guide to global leading lawyers.
Michael has 13 years’ experience as a judiciary officer and tribunal chairman for Rugby Australia and World Rugby.
He is a current Member of the Adjudicatory Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee, representing Papua New Guinea.
Michael also proudly serves as the Chairman of the Oceania Football Confederation Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, representing Papua New Guinea.
Locally, Michael serves as the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee for Capital Rugby Union in Papua New Guinea, where he also coaches.
